Volunteer abroad as a Caring Assistant!
Residential homes and centres provide essential support to many individuals with additional needs. As a volunteer Caring Assistant you might assist with the care of residents in a home for elderly people or a centre for people with disabilities. Alternatively, you might work in a community centre. Providing additional support to paid staff, you will provide care and help during group activities that are greatly enjoyed by all. These might include such things as sports sessions, shopping excursions, going to the cinema or just out and about.
Everything you do will be helping someone live life with a greater level of dignity and enjoyment, and give you a strong sense of achievement.
